Medical and Dental Clinic
Love Takes ROOT has a clinic at the La Concorde property in Jacmel. It is Haitian staffed and managed. Volunteer physicians, dentists, and other healthcare providers also help staff the clinic when on misison trips. This clinic provides care for children living at the orphanage, children and their families who attend the school and those living in the immediate community.
Medical Facilities
Volunteers also work at the public health hospital in Jacmel.
Supplies for medical treatments are mostly provided by donations.
Dental Facilities
When dental volunteers are working on mission trips with Love Takes ROOT they are able to provide dental care in the LTR clinic.
Outreach Clinic
Healthcare providers who have volunteered with Love Takes ROOT also have the opportunity to provide outreach medical care in area villages.
Our Services
Social Emotional Wellness
Social emotional project has a adult facilitator that meets with each child involved weekly. The children that are currently project journal daily using prompts and a feelings wheel. Because of all of the trauma this generation has endured it's important for them to process their emotions.
Primary Care Services
LOVE Takes Root clinic is open daily to serve patients in the immediate community and at the school. There is some basic medical tests available and a pharmacy. There is a sliding scale fee to be seen in clinic. The clinic is staffed by Haitian physicians and nurses.

Dr. Rachel
General Practitioner
I am Rachelle Frezin. I am a General Practitioner, I'm married and I live in Jacmel. I've been working as a doctor since 2019, and I started working at Love Take Root in September 2022.
Dr. Mondeley
Orthopedic Surgeon
Dr. Mondeley went to medical school at Haiti University and did his residency De La Paix. He is on staff at Saint-Michel Hospital in Jacmel and fellowship with Dr. Rick Wilkerson.
Marie Annette
Nurse
I am Marie-Annette Philogene. I am Haïtien and living in Jacmel. I studied nursing at the University of Lumièrein and now working in the LTR clinic as a nurse.
Junette
Social Worker
Junette has a background in Haitian social services. She was a teacher in Elementary Ed. She has returned to law school to work in children services. She runs the social emotional wellness program at La Concorde Orphanage.
